BACK TO CINEMAS

As we begin to settle back in to doing the things we love, the WTW & Scott Cinema Group has been hard at work making sure our venues are even safer so that you can continue to enjoy new movies with a captivated audience. These procedures have been developed in line with Government guidance. When visiting the cinema, things may work a little differently for now - here's some of the core new policies and procedures you can expect to find when you visit us...

WATCHING A MOVIE

All auditoria are limited to a maximum of 35% of their physical capacity. Only alternate rows of seats are in use and nobody will be sat beside you.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

While queuing, please keep 1m away from the person in front of you. Please be respectful of other people when walking to or from the toilets as space is very limited in these areas. Please follow staff instructions when leaving the cinema.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS

Advance Booking is strongly advised - the booking fee has temporarily been reduced to allow for this. Some snacks and drinks may not be available. Please try to pay by card or contactless where possible.

HEALTH & HYGIENE

Screens are installed at all service points. Please use the hand sanitiser provided around the building. Staff are regularly disinfecting all contact points in the building and have all the necessary PPE required in order to safely do their jobs.

FACE COVERINGS

It is now a requirement to wear a face covering in cinemas in England. This can be taken off when you have taken your seat inside the auditorium. Please do not leave your face covering in the cinema after the show.

VE Day 75 Live

CANCELLATION INFORMATION

VE Day 75 has been rescheduled to September. We are currently not able to go on sale with the new dates (as our cinema teams need to be able to access their building to do this) but will do in due course. You can either opt for a refund, or we can transfer your tickets to the new performance date once it is scheduled.

INFORMATION

Exactly 75 years since Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s announcement of the end of the Second World War, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra plus special guests will unite the nation for an inspiring and patriotic evening.

VE Day 75 With The Daily Mail, presented by SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity, takes place on Friday 8 May. On this special May Bank Holiday, the county will come together for an unforgettable night of commemoration and celebration, broadcast to cinemas nationwide live from a sold-out Royal Albert Hall.
Audiences will enjoy stirring and emotional music from some of Britain’s greatest composers - from Elgar’s Nimrod to Walton’s Spitfire Prelude & Fugue, Holst’s Planet Suite to Ron Goodwin’s Battle Of Britain Theme and many more. There will also be on stage appearances by Second World War Veterans.

This event is in support of SSAFA. The Armed Forces charity offers support to those currently serving, regulars and Reservists, in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army and Royal Air Force, Veterans and military families, as well as Veterans from the Merchant Navy.

Running time: approx. 180min.

ADMISSION PRICES

Admission Prices vary by cinema for this season. Please see individual performances.

Free Tickets (such as Guest Passes, Admit One vouchers, and Meerkat Movies) cannot be used on this presentation. Relevant Daily Telegraph and ClassicFM vouchers are accepted, when tickets are bought in person at the box office.

CERTIFICATION

Event Cinema presentations are classed as 12A by default, except where noted otherwise. This reflects the fact that the BBFC has not examined content, and therefore we are advised that it cannot be determined whether the material contained within the presentation is suitable for children. The applied 12A certificate means that persons under the age of 12 can only be admitted when accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

In some situations, Event Cinema presentations may have a classification pre-determined by either the venue of origination, or the distributor. These certificates reflect the original ratings applied to the content of any show, for example by the exhibiting theatre. These certificates are clearly displayed next to the presentation title.

Encore performances are always rated by the BBFC. Please note that for 15 & 18 certificate presentations, nobody under that age can be admitted,
